Nabigarh Sri valliammal, a woman from Kasaragod district, is married to a man from Telangana with 3 children. Despite being unable to have any children of her own, she gives birth to 2 babies, both boys. Sri valliammal's husband dies and she remarries a woman with 3 sons. The new husband is reluctant about the idea of having another child with his second wife as he has no space in his life for more children. But one day when he pays her a visit, he realizes that this would cause problems for mother and daughters-in-law and decides not to object on the condition that they name their daughter after him. To keep up the promise, they name her 'Nabigarh'. Nabigarh (Shriya Saran) grows up to be a responsible woman who takes the responsibility of the family on herself. She is kind and caring towards those around her. Even though she is from a poor family, she has a dream of building a hospital in their village as there are no proper facilities for those living in that area. In order to fulfill that dream, she leaves her village and goes to Mumbai. She works very hard and saves money to fulfill her dream. She also does social service by working as a software professional and helping people with free medical treatments.. When she returns to the village with her dream achieved, she is welcomed with a lot of appreciation. But when she goes back to Mumbai, her 3 brothers are beaten up by some goons for money. She returns again to help them out. When she repairs their faces with plastic surgery, they feel guilty about their behaviour towards her. The brothers apologize for their past behaviour and join the hospital project as doctors.. Meanwhile, Nabigarh meets one of her friends named Vishal (Vishal Krishna) who loves cricket and dreams of becoming a cricketer like Tendulkar. She decides to sponsor his cricket team but he shows no interest in making money out of this opportunity. She suddenly realizes that Vishal is not interested in money and he doesn't need it to live a happy life. She gives him all the money she got from sponsoring his cricket team and asks him to decide what he wants to do with it.. After some time, Nabigarh starts hating her second marriage. Her new husband is very adamant about not marrying again because he wants to have a single household with all the sons in one place. Nabigarh's father-in-law is equally adamant about this decision also. One day she decides that she has had enough of both these men and decides to run away with her youngest son. She takes her son to the hill station, but her husband finds out and comes to look for them. At this point, Nabigarh realizes that she has no idea how to live on her own, she is very scared that she might hurt herself or her son. She goes back to the house with no plans of ever leaving again.. After a few days, Nabigarh's husband invites his 3 sons to his house. He tells them that he is getting remarried and he knows it'll be hard for all of them to live together with him in one home after this decision.
